Dr. Irfan M. Hisamuddin, also known as Dr. Din, has been an active Gastroenterologist since 2007.
Dr. Din's earlier training include:
- a year of Advanced Post-doctoral Fellowship in Colon Cancer
- a three-year fellowship in Clinical Gastroenterology at the Emory University School of Medicine
Dr. Din's clinical interests include colon cancer prevention and management with a special interest in familial colon cancer.
He has done extensive clinical and basic research into the causes, prevention and treatment of colon cancer.
His other areas of interests include management of Stomach Disorders, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Acid Reflux Disease, Acute and Chronic Liver Disease and Inflammatory bowel disease.
Dr. Din, along with his wife and two children, lives in Talleyville. They enjoy the variety of weather in the area and they also love to travel.
